Halloween fans have a fun reason to head to the mailbox this year! Tulare Parks & Recreation is once again inviting families and fans to send a letter to Jack Skellington for Halloween 2026.
Even better, if you include a self-addressed, stamped envelope, you may receive a response back!

If you would like to hear back, be sure to place a self-addressed, stamped envelope inside your letter so a response can be mailed back to you.
Kids can have fun telling Jack about their Halloween costume, asking him questions, sharing what they love about Halloween, or simply sending him a spooky hello.
According to Tulare Parks & Recreation, the program has received an impressive response in the past. One of their updates reported more than 4,000 letters, including letters from all 50 states and from outside the United States.
Because October 16 is the stated mail-by date, I’d recommend getting your letter in the mail a little earlier if possible.
