Krispy Kreme has a fun freebie coming for Pokémon fans!
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, guests who wear Pokémon attire to a participating Krispy Kreme shop can score a FREE Original Glazed® Doughnut. No purchase is mentioned as being required. The offer is limited to one free doughnut per guest and is available in-shop and through the drive-thru only.
Participation may vary by location, so it’s always a good idea to check with your local Krispy Kreme before heading out.
Krispy Kreme Is Also Launching New Pokémon Doughnuts
The free doughnut giveaway is part of Krispy Kreme’s celebration of 30 years of Pokémon.
Beginning Tuesday, August 18, participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide will offer a limited-time Pokémon Doughnut Collection featuring several popular Pokémon characters.
The collection includes:
Bulbasaur Doughnut
An Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in vanilla-flavored icing, topped with frosting and a Bulbasaur piece.
Charmander Doughnut
An unglazed shell filled with chocolate and toasted marshmallow-flavored filling, dipped in orange caramel icing and topped with red and gold sugar plus a Charmander piece.
Squirtle Doughnut
An Original Glazed® doughnut topped with cotton candy-flavored buttercreme, sanding sugar, nonpareils and a surfing Squirtle piece.
Pikachu Doughnut
An unglazed shell filled with lemon-flavored Kreme™, dipped in vanilla icing and finished with drizzle, nonpareils and a Pikachu piece.
Jigglypuff Doughnut
An Original Glazed® doughnut topped with strawberry-flavored buttercreme, strawberry cookie pieces and a Jigglypuff decoration.
Poké Ball Doughnut
An Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in vanilla-flavored icing and red sprinkles with chocolate icing.
Pokémon Dozens and Special-Edition Cups
Krispy Kreme is also releasing a Pokémon Dozen in special-edition packaging featuring five Pokémon characters.
Fans can also find a special-edition Pokémon cup available in five different designs, filled with 10 Original Glazed® Gold Dots.
The Pokémon Doughnut Collection will be available individually and by the dozen at participating shops, as well as for pickup or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app and website. Preorders for the Pokémon Dozen begin August 13.
