Amazon has agreed to a $2.5 billion settlement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over claims that customers were unknowingly enrolled in Prime memberships or had difficulty canceling. Eligible customers may receive a refund of up to $51.
Who Qualifies?
You may qualify if:
- You were a U.S. Amazon Prime member
- You signed up for Prime between June 23, 2019 and June 23, 2025
- You were enrolled through one of the Prime signup flows involved in the case
- You did not heavily use Prime benefits during your membership period

Eligible members could receive up to $51. The exact amount may vary depending on your membership fees and any refunds already received.
