Back in the day when Radio Shack closed all of its stores, it felt like a funeral for an old friend.

I still think of the days walking around Blockbuster Video on a Friday night checking to see if anyone has returned the movie I wanted to rent. Laughing at the people in their pajamas like we’re in their living room. DVDs then Blu-rays, days gone never to return. Sigh. Does anyone still do Family Movie nights?

My small town lost Macy’s over a decade ago and I still miss it.
